What’s the difference between force and net force?

wer C: A force generally refers to a singular force vector, such as weight, or friction, or normal force. On the other hand the net force is the sum of all the individual force vectors in a given direction. For example if tension and friction both point in the same direction then the net force will be friction + tension. A is wrong because the net force can be the sum of any force, not just weight and normal force.
